Opened on the seafront in Pesaro the Nautilus Family Hotel, latest creation of Eden Hotels & Resorts in Eden Viaggi galaxy is the highest hotel in wood (28 meters) and more green in Europe.
Intelligent design, curated by Attilio Marchetti Rossi “the wood engeneer” and architect Marco Gaudenzi, the structure allows to achieve the full energy budget in the summer. Born of a merger of an existing building and a wing built from scratch in a couple of months, Hotel Nautilus is composed of a central body of 28 meters high wooden, 7 floors, with 4-star rooms, which is accompanied by the “Nau Home” area in reaching a total of 111 rooms, including Classic, Superior and Family Room with 4-5 beds.
The wood used for the Nautilus Hotel (788 cubic meters) is naturally insulating and from forests with controlled growth. The wood used was worked in wood panels, assembled using only water hill. The result is an anti-seismic building (can also withstand a magnitude 8 with an oscillation of the top of the building just 3 cm), solid but flexible. The earthquake-proof building is solid but flexible, and it’s structure can withstand fire for longer and better than traditional concrete.
The interiors designed by designer Roberto Garbugli, are characterized by a contemporary style that recalls the themes of the wood and the sea, with architectural elements and furnishings inspired by the keel of a ship and columns wrapped peaks. The chairs of Nene’s collection by Midj have been choosen for their fresh design and cheerful fot the breackfast and dining areas, in upholstered versions for the rooms and bar spaces.
